Hello everyone. This section of my blog will be dedicated to everything related to my Visual Effects M.F.A. thesis development. For those of you who don’t know what my thesis is about, let me give you a broad overview:

In as few words as possible, my thesis consists of the development of a proof of concept of an alternative and/or compliment to crowds systems. I’m going to create an ecosystem of fully procedural and automated creatures (prey and hunters). These creatures should be able to walk by themselves and potentially interact in a semi-realistic way without traditional keyframe animation, while providing the user with controllers that will allow them to customize the creature’s look and behavior.

The following posts on this section will showcase the development and progress of the work done to achieve the goals proposed and the completion of this thesis.
